Being a leader in the creative economy requires a philosophy that embraces change;  and leveraging change as an opportunity.

Your creativity can help you design a desirable future and unleash your courage by empowering yourself, your collaborators, and draw creativity out your everyday life.

This will only happen though if you maintain a positive attitude and trust that your creative leadership will help you, and your team, build new innovative strategies.

Problem-solving, critical analysis, experimentation, big visions, collaborations, bold actions, calculated risk-taking, agility, and hard work all drive major value to every organization and will serve the bottom line. But all of these require one thing, creativity. Creativity is the fuel of decision making and problem-solving that ultimately will define your true success in uncertain times.

To succeed, you have to get out there and make something happen, attack the challenge that you and everyone else are facing head-on.  That is creative leadership.

Wouldn’t it be great if you were the one who found the winning solution?  In order to do that, you need to lead creatively. Take a risk, don’t be afraid to do something different and bold. When others are sitting at home not sure what to do, get out there and work harder than ever. Don’t be afraid to ask for help and collaborate with your closest “competitors” in that process.

Albert Einstein said, “The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge… but imagination.”

Take a minute and think about that. You can have all the knowledge in the world but to stand out from the crowd you need imagination.

You can gain knowledge from books, but the best knowledge comes from experience. Your imagination makes you different, it makes you unique. Imagination is fueled by experience and bold actions.  Don’t stick to the familiar. If you do, you will never stumble upon something new and unexpected. Something could show up that is life-changing.

In the challenging times we face, you have to be creative and imaginative to achieve your goals and true potential. Take charge and make things happen, now.
